I remember the day I was introduced to thrift shopping. My family and I were going to a 1920’s themed birthday party and we needed outfits that suited the era. Unfortunately it was not close enough to October to just go to a costume shop, so my dad suggested a thrift store. I always thought that thrift stores were just where you go to donate your clothes to the needy- I had no idea what wonders awaited…
Anyway, after that day, I became more and more pumped about thrift shopping because I realized that there are some really awesome things you can find there, and in decent condition, too! I enjoy the thrill of the hunt for specific items, and the joys of discovering new finds. There are also many other benefits to thrift shopping, but I think I am going to save that for another video.
